Sara Minguet has won the UB Prize Ferran Adrià for her work “Barley on the table.” The introduction of barley beta-glucans in a functional food in order to reduce the levels of plasma cholesterol.
Marian Moralejo of Agrotecnio, tutor of the itinerary project has also helped in this research work.
