Research

My research activity focuses on the use of sensors and automation in the framework of precision agriculture. Particularly, it deals with the use of sensors and data processing for electronic canopy characterization in orchards to provide farmers with better information to make better decisions. Additionally, I am using digital soil sensing and remote sensing to help farmers in the adoption of precision agriculture. Regarding my lecturing, I am member of the Department of Agricultural and Forest Engineering and currently teach courses of Precision Agriculture, Mechatronics, Computers and Agricultural Robotics at the School of Agrifood and Forestry Science and Engineering and at the Polytechnic School of the University of Lleida.
