On Friday 19 January, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zaragoza held a meeting that brought together the directors of the agri-food research institutes belonging to Campus Iberus: ISFOOD – Institute for Innovation & Sustainable Food Chain Development (Public University of Navarra), the Agri-Food Institute of Aragon-IA2 (University of Zaragoza-CITA Aragon) and Agrotecnio (University of Lleida). The aim of this meeting was to establish the basis for collaboration and to promote synergies between the three centres.
The meeting, hosted by Inmaculada Martín (IA2 director), Rafael Pagán and Jorge Hugo Calvo (deputy directors), was also attended by Idoia Labayen (ISFOOD director), María González de Audicano (deputy director) and Juan Maté (secretary); and Ignacio Romagosa (representing José Antonio Bonet, director of Agrotecnio) and Olga Martín (Vice-rector of Knowledge Transfer of the UdL).
Among their agreements, a first area of collaboration has been established, which will focus on a joint training programme aimed at the research staff of the three institutions.
