Research
I am specialized in bovine reproduction and animal health, especially new reemerging diseases such as Coxiella burnetii. I perform weekly reproductive visits in high producing dairy farms of North-eastern Spain (ranging 150 to 3000 lactating animals/herd) and technical advisory of pharmaceutical enterprises. The research performed in commercial dairy farms includes ultrasonography, short progesterone-based synchronization protocols, manual twin reduction, climatic and management factors affecting fertility and pregnancy losses.
