Research
The general lines of research are related to various aspects of the improvement of winter cereals, and focus on two activities: genetic improvement of barley to rainfed conditions, studying aspects related to plant genomics, genetic resources and biodiversity cereal, development of germplasm and new methods of interest for genetic improvement of barley for human consumption. The second activity is related with agricultural biotechnology and rice breeding for research in synthetic biology.
