Agrotecnio has organised a new edition of the ‘Early Career Forum’, an event aimed at young researchers who are currently studying for their doctorate or have recently completed their studies. These meetings address cross-cutting issues to help young researchers to develop their professional careers.
In this edition, the focus of the forum was on funding opportunities for postdoctoral fellows. Joaquin Capablo, promoter of European Marie Curie projects at Campus Iberus, explained the main sources of funding available to postdocs once they have finished their research, both national and European.
At the end of the seminar, the Bioactive Components of Food research group prepared a tasting of ‘turron’ and honey, with the help of the company Alemany. The founder of the company from Os de Balaguer (Noguera) presented the types of ‘turron’ and explained the origins and evolution of the company.
