I am a forestry researcher with multidisciplinary training in silviculture, forest ecology and quantitative ecology. My research focuses, firstly, on developing new tools to assess forest responses to natural and anthropogenic disturbances of all kinds (fires, logging and compound disturbances) and, secondly, on providing empirical evidence of the most vulnerable communities that should be prioritised in conservation or restoration plans. To achieve these objectives, I combine statistical models, multivariate analyses and data science techniques on large datasets. The ultimate goal of my research is to provide forest managers and policy makers with pragmatic information to better anticipate forest responses to future environmental changes.
