Teresa Capell is a researcher specialising in molecular pharmacology, metabolic pathway engineering and synthetic biology. Her research has always been translational, combining fundamental and applied elements. At the Agrotecnio and University of Lleida Laboratory of Applied Biotechnology to Plants, she works on the genetic transformation of plants for use as pharmaceutical products in the form of antigens and microbicides.
