Joel Torra Farré

I am interested in weed ecology in general. I have worked with Galium species and the biology of Bromus diandrus. I have contributed to the characterisation of weed diversity in arid land cereals, with the aim of understanding the effects of management on plant diversity. I am also involved in understanding the role of seed predation by harvester ants in weed population dynamics. I study the management of herbicide-resistant butterfly beans in cereals and resistance to 2,4-D.
