My research interests focus mainly on weed biology, including germination, emergence and growth characteristics, with the aim of developing models to describe them. This topic is closely related to integrated weed management (IWM) and its improvement, which is the ultimate goal of this research. Secondly, I also work with oilseed crops (camelina and pennycress), which are crops that can be grown in rotation with rainfed cereals for integrated weed management. I also collaborate on research into herbicide-resistant weeds.
