- The day of coexistence is consolidated as one of the center’s most important internal events
Agrotecnio has celebrated the III edition of its Teambuilding, a day designed to strengthen ties among all the research, technical and administrative staff of the center and to foster a closer, more collaborative and motivating work environment. The event had the participation of 125 people and was held in the spaces of the ETSEAFiV Campus of the University of Lleida, where Agrotecnio has its main headquarters.
The day began early in the morning with the welcome speech of the director, José Antonio Bonet, who highlighted the close collaboration with the University of Lleida and how this relationship contributes to the joint growth of both institutions. He underlined that Agrotecnio complements the role of the University by promoting synergies among the different research groups and explained that currently a total of 22 multidisciplinary projects are being carried out among the different research areas of the center. The director also emphasized the strategic alliances established with the Forest Science and Technology Centre of Catalonia (CFTC) and IRBLleida.
Creativity, gastronomy and physical activity
During the day, the attendees were divided into groups to participate in a varied program of activities in competition format. The first test was a treasure hunt through the campus gardens, a dynamic that stimulated strategy and teamwork. Next, the III Agrogourmet was organized, a tasting of different agri-food products (oil, wine, ham and cheese) led by researchers Laura Rubió, Nàdia Ortega and Francisco Molino, in which the teams accumulated points according to their answers and knowledge. To conclude, a movement activity was organized: “Let’s groove!”, guided by researcher Giada Centenaro, with the aim of energizing and connecting the participants in a fun and healthy way, a test that also had scoring for each team.
At the end of the morning, the winning team was proclaimed, which was the one that most quickly found the treasure clues and accumulated the highest score in the tasting and movement activities.
