Laura Salamero Teixidó is an associate professor of Administrative Law at the University of Lleida (UdL). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law and a PhD in Law. She also holds an LLM in Food Law from Università Luiss Guido Carli in Rome. Her academic and research profile is focused in Administrative Law, but for the last few years has specialized in agrifood law and environmental aspects related to food systems, with several publications on prevention and management of food losses and waste, as well as broader topics related to sustainable food systems, food security and food safety.
