The research area is precision livestock farming, and the fields of specialisation are the use of sensors in precision livestock farming (PLF) and the processing of the data generated. There are two lines of research: 1) Development and integration of technology to enable PLF. This also includes the creation of simulations, digital twins and DSS (decision support systems); and 2) acquisition, filtering and distribution of data for interpretation.
