Dr. Pablo M. Blanco is a Beatriu de Pinós postdoctoral researcher at the University of Lleida. He obtained his BSc and PhD in Chemistry from the University of Barcelona and held postdoctoral positions at Charles University (Czech Republic) and NTNU (Norway) as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow. His research focuses on computational modeling of biopolymers and macromolecular systems in agro-environmental and biological contexts, including charge regulation, macromolecular crowding, and nanoparticle transport. Using coarse-grained simulations, he studies processes relevant to soil chemistry, soft matter, and sustainable delivery systems. He also develops open-source molecular simulation software, including the pyMBE toolbox.
