My field of work is Applied Entomology. My approach to this broad subject consists of studying certain physiological aspects of insects that can modify their response to environmental conditions, altering their biological cycles and development. More specifically, I have recently studied the hormonal regulation of diapause, the response to specific pheromones, and the response of caterpillars to Bt toxin.
