I specialise in bovine reproduction and animal health, particularly in emerging diseases such as Coxiella burnetii. I conduct weekly visits related to reproduction at high-yield dairy farms in north-eastern Spain (with between 150 and 3,000 lactating animals per herd) and provide technical advice to pharmaceutical companies. Research conducted on commercial dairy farms includes ultrasound scans, progesterone-based synchronisation protocols, manual twin reduction, and climatic and management factors affecting fertility loss and pregnancy.
