My goal at Agrotecnio is to integrate the ecology of infectious and parasitic diseases with the study of gut microbiota, exploring how health, ecological and nutritional processes interact in systems where wildlife, domestic animals and the environment are connected. This is particularly relevant in the context of increasing populations of ungulates and lagomorphs, which represent an ideal scenario for analysing microbiological, metabolic and epidemiological dynamics with implications for sustainability and global health.
