Olga Blanco Prieto

Olga is a researcher at the University of Lleida and Agrotecnio, specialising in animal reproduction physiology and biotechnology. Her research focuses on the study of mitochondrial function, bioenergetics and sperm fertilisation capacity in species such as pigs and cattle. She has published articles on cryopreservation, the effects of LED light on sperm quality and the use of software to analyse sperm motility. With this line of research, she aims to contribute to a better understanding of the molecular mechanisms that affect fertility, with applications in animal production and reproductive biotechnologies.
