Slafer<\/a>, head of the Crop Physiology group, who ranks 23,906th. He is followed by <a href=\"https:\/\/agrotecnio.org\/research-groups\/plant-phenomics\/jose-luis-araus\/\">Jos\u00e9 Luis Araus<\/a> (Crop Physiology, researcher at the University of Barcelona, ranked 42,121), <a href=\"https:\/\/agrotecnio.org\/research-groups\/novel-technologies-for-food-processing\/olga-martin-belloso\/\">Olga Mart\u00edn-Belloso<\/a> (New Technologies for Food Processing, ranked 42,193), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/scientific-contributions\/F-Lopez-Gatius-2059152131\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fernando L\u00f3pez-Gatius<\/a> (Animal Production, 61,133);<a href=\"https:\/\/agrotecnio.org\/es\/investigacion\/biotecnologia-vegetal-aplicada\/paul-christou\/\"> Paul Christou<\/a> (Applied Plant Biotechnology, 78,264); <a href=\"https:\/\/portalrecerca.udl.cat\/investigadores\/759711\/detalle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Laura Salvia-Trujillo<\/a> (New Technologies for Food Processing, 82,671); <a href=\"https:\/\/agrotecnio.org\/es\/investigacion\/nuevas-tecnologias-de-procesado-de-alimentos\/robert-soliva\/\">Robert Soliva-Fortuny<\/a> (New Technologies for Food Processing, 89,445); <a href=\"https:\/\/agrotecnio.org\/es\/investigacion\/produccion-forestal\/victor-resco-de-dios\/\">V\u00edctor Resco de Dios<\/a> (Forest Management, 93,420) and <a href=\"https:\/\/portalrecerca.udl.cat\/investigadores\/759633\/detalle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Concha Ramos<\/a> (Agronomy, 95,325). From position 100,000 onwards, we also find <a href=\"https:\/\/agrotecnio.org\/research-groups\/applied-mycology\/sonia-marin\/\">S\u00f2nia Mar\u00edn<\/a> (Applied Mycology, 122,879); <a href=\"https:\/\/agrotecnio.org\/research-groups\/agroict-precision-agriculture\/jose-antonio-martinez-casasnovas\/\">Jos\u00e9 Antonio Mart\u00ednez-Casasnovas<\/a> (Agro-ICT and Precision Agriculture, 129,412);<a href=\"https:\/\/agrotecnio.org\/es\/investigacion\/biologia-y-tecnologia-de-postcosecha\/isabel-lara\/\"> Isabel Lara<\/a> (Biology and Post-Harvest Technology 160,777); <a href=\"https:\/\/agrotecnio.org\/es\/investigacion\/fisiologia-de-cultivos\/roxana-savin\/\">Roxana Savin<\/a> (Crop Physiology, 290,934); and <a href=\"https:\/\/agrotecnio.org\/research-groups\/animal-breeding\/lorenzo-fraile\/\">Lorenzo Fraile<\/a> (Animal Breeding, 508,877).\n\nThe University of Lleida has a total of 36 researchers on the list, among whom <a href=\"https:\/\/portalrecerca.udl.cat\/investigadores\/759644\/detalle\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Luisa F. Cabeza Fabra<\/a>, professor of labour studies at the Higher Polytechnic School, stands out. She continues to be the highest-ranked researcher at the UdL for another year, in 1,252nd place, with 4,958 references excluding self-citations. The University of Barcelona, for its part, has 157 researchers in the ranking. The UB is the university in Spain with the most cited research staff.\n\nZhong Ling Wang, from the Chinese Academy of Sciences, remains number one internationally in 2024, with 40,519 citations.
