A total of 9 researchers affiliated with Agrotecnio appear in the latest ranking published by the Spanish National Research Council<\/a> (CSIC), dedicated to Spanish and international women researchers affiliated with institutions in Spain. The ranking once again places researchers linked to Agrotecnio and the University of Lleida<\/a> among the most prominent in terms of scientific impact and international visibility. The ranking<\/a>, prepared by the CSIC\u2019s Cybermetrics Lab, includes more than 12,000 profiles and is based on bibliometric indicators from Google Scholar.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the Agrotecnio-affiliated researchers with the highest ranking is Olga Mart\u00edn Belloso<\/a>, Professor of Food Technology, who holds position 33 in the national ranking, with an h-index of 113 and more than 43,000 citations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also standing out is S\u00f2nia Mar\u00edn<\/a>, Professor at the University of Lleida and expert in Applied Mycology, ranked 210, with an h-index of 71 and nearly 17,400 citations. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Agrotecnio\u2019s representation in this ranking is completed by researchers linked to strategic areas of agri-food and forestry research. In the field of crop production, Roxana Savin<\/a>, Professor of Crop Physiology, appears in position 672, along with Marian Moralejo<\/a>, also linked to Crop Physiology, in position 8,684. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the field of food technologies, the ranking includes Isabel Odriozola<\/a>, specialist in New Food Processing Technologies, in position 2,014, and Gemma Oms<\/a>, also a researcher in this area, in position 2,308. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Regarding\u00a0animal production and sustainability, the ranking includes\u00a0Romi Pena,<\/a>\u00a0Professor of Animal Breeding, ranked 4,516, and\u00a0Isabel Blanco<\/a>, researcher in Animal Breeding, in position 5,787. The list is completed by\u00a0Tatiana Shestakova<\/a>, researcher in Forest Management, who holds position 9,497.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2026 edition of the ranking highlights the contribution of women researchers to the generation of high-impact knowledge in key sectors such as agrifood, biotechnology, and sustainability. The document also emphasizes the use of open identifiers such as ORCID and the commitment to open science as a tool to increase research visibility. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
