The aim is to bring research closer to the real needs of the productive sector and society, generate\u00a0synergies\u00a0and foster new collaborations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the main new features of this edition is the holding of one of the breakfasts in\u00a0Tremp\u00a0in July, as part of a regional session that will highlight the potential of\u00a0Pallars\u00a0oil. The session will address the role of this product as a driver of rural development in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cycle will feature the participation of researchers not only from\u00a0Agrotecnio, but also from other leading\u00a0centres\u00a0such as IRTA and CTFC, thus reinforcing its collaborative and inter-institutional nature.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Debates on the future of the agri-food sector<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As in the two\u00a0previous\u00a0editions, a\u00a0programme\u00a0has been drawn up that addresses the key challenges for the future of the agri-food sector. Among the topics scheduled for 2026 are improving the resilience of cereals to climate change through new genetic and agronomic strategies, promoting the local cultivation of non-GM soybeans as a source of high-value vegetable protein, and reducing greenhouse gas emissions in livestock farming through animal nutrition and the use of innovative additives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\u00a0series\u00a0will\u00a0also\u00a0include\u00a0a\u00a0session\u00a0dedicated\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0application\u00a0of\u00a0data-based\u00a0technologies,\u00a0geostatistics\u00a0and artificial\u00a0intelligence\u00a0to\u00a0improve\u00a0integrated\u00a0pest\u00a0management.\u00a0\u00a0It\u00a0will\u00a0also\u00a0address\u00a0the\u00a0valorisation\u00a0of\u00a0agri-food\u00a0by-products\u00a0by\u00a0transforming\u00a0transition\u00a0milk\u00a0into\u00a0new\u00a0functional\u00a0foods\u00a0through\u00a0fermentation\u00a0processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Finally, emerging trends in innovation will be presented, such as the use of epigenetics to improve health and production efficiency in the pig sector, the validation of robotics and agricultural&nbsp;digitisation&nbsp;technologies within the framework of the European&nbsp;AgrifoodTEF&nbsp;project, and the potential of aromatic and medicinal plants as a means of agricultural diversification with applications in health, food and cosmetics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/agrotecnio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/fulleto-esmorzars-innovacio.pdf\">Breakfast for Inno 2026 program<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Agrotecnio, Parc\u00a0Agrobiotech\u00a0and\u00a0Diputaci\u00f3\u00a0de Lleida are promoting the third edition of the\u00a0Breakfast4Inno\u00a0series this year, an initiative that has already established itself as a regular meeting point for research, business, government and citizens, with the aim of promoting applied innovation and strengthening collaboration between the scientific community, the agri-food sector, the business community and public institutions.
