{"id":2306,"date":"2025-11-14T12:03:24","date_gmt":"2025-11-14T11:03:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/agrotecnio.org\/agrotecnio-llanca-una-xarxa-de-suport-per-a-investigadors-en-fases-inicials\/"},"modified":"2026-02-01T12:38:34","modified_gmt":"2026-02-01T11:38:34","slug":"agrotecnio-launches-support-network-for-early-stage-researchers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/agrotecnio.org\/en\/agrotecnio-launches-support-network-for-early-stage-researchers\/","title":{"rendered":"Agrotecnio launches a support network for early-stage researchers"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Around 40 PhD students and postdoctoral researchers have come together to launch\u00a0Agrotecnio&#8217;s\u00a0<strong>Early Career Network,<\/strong> a support network for early-career researchers.\u00a0The initiative was created with the aim of providing training, mentoring, discussion forums, and representation for the\u00a0center&#8217;s\u00a0youngest researchers.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Early Career Network is an evolution of the cross-cutting forums (Early Career Forums) that\u00a0Agrotecnio\u00a0has been organizing since 2021. This new initiative aims to go one step further, making the\u00a0most of\u00a0existing resources in the university ecosystem and promoting contact and collaboration between early-career researchers.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the launch event,\u00a0Agrotecnio&#8217;s\u00a0communications manager, Paola Lloret, reviewed some of the resources available, such as the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cursosfpu.udl.cat\/llistat.php?any=2025-2026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">training courses offered by the University of Lleida for teaching and research staff<\/a>, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/agrotecnio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/WelcomeManual2024.pdf\">Agrotecnio\u00a0Welcome Manual<\/a> and its <a href=\"https:\/\/agrotecnio.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/Agrotecnio-GenderEqualityPlan_ca.pdf\">Gender Equality Plan<\/a>. Giada\u00a0Centerano, researcher from the Forest Management group, also presented the \u2018<a href=\"https:\/\/www.doctorat.udl.cat\/es\/formacio-investigadora\/pla-de-formacio\/el-tercer-espai\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tercer\u00a0Espai<\/a>\u2019 initiative from the\u00a0UdL\u00a0Doctoral School.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main novelty of the new network is that it will offer a professional coaching service provided by Centenaro. This service will only be available to members of Agrotecnio&#8217;s research groups.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Irene Teixid\u00f3, researcher in the Applied Mycology group, explained to the audience how Agrotecnio&#8217;s Steering Scientific Management Committee (SSMC) works and how pre-doctoral and post-doctoral scientists are represented. Teixid\u00f3, together with Ana Stoian from the Animal Health group, will represent the younger members of the center on the SSMC. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure that the Early Career Network meets real needs, an\u00a0organizing\u00a0committee has been set up.
